This is a brief explanation of how to purchase udemy courses in Pakistan. Udemy is by far one of the largest online, self-paced educational platform. Postcolonial Space has now also started creating courses on Udemy. I have fielded several queries from Pakistan, mostly Pakistani students about how to purchase my Udemy courses in Pakistan. Let me first thank you in your interest in my course: The courses do not just provide you useful materials for your study in pakistan but they are also likely to support me and my wife as we move into our new life after my resignation from my job. How to Purchase Udemy Courses in Pakistan?

Udemy is a curated platform, which means that you will first have to create a FREE account with the website. After you have created an account, then please follow any of the course links below to sign up for the course (Following the links from my website enables you to use the coupons that I will sometimes add to the various course links). After you have chosen your course and followed the link, here are the simple steps you will have to follow to register and get access to my Udemy courses in Pakistan:

On the checkout page, you will have to provide the following information (this is assuming you are already logged in):

Title (Name on your Bank/ Credit Card)
Card number
Expiry month and year of the card
Three digit code (at the backside of the card)
Zip code of the city. (You can always check out the Zip Code for your particular city in Pakistan)

After you have filled in this information, click on the tab that says “Complete Process” and, if all information is correct, you would have access to the course. You should get an immediate email from Udemy confirming your purchase.

What Kind of Bank/ Credit Cards Work from Pakistan

I have not done any personal research on it, but one of my friends was able to purchase a course using her normal bank card. Here, however, is a list of acceptable cards that someone has put together:

HBL: Visa/Master Debit/Credit Cards; UnionPay not yet confirmed.
Bank Al-Habib: Visa/Master Debit/Credit Cards.
Standard Chartered: All Cards applicable for any online transaction.
UBL: UBL Wiz Card applicable for Udemy transactions
Askari Bank Limited: Visa/Master Debit/Credit Cards all applicable for Udemy transactions
